  1. "The House of the Rising Sun", song popularized by The Animals but stems from a traditional English Ballad and written by Georgia Turner and Bert Martin, it was first recorded in the 1920s.

  2. "Land of the Rising Sun", another name for Japan, a lose translation of the Japanese word for it's country 日本 (Nihon or Nippon meaning, "the sun's origin").
